Archiquarium by Swedish designer Karl-Oskar Ankarberg.  A split-level fish house constructed using white and black Corian.

Wanda Aquarium by Piergil Fourquié.  Much like the Fishscape Fishbowl, the interior is hollowed out.  The entire bowl sits on a concrete base with a raised platform you can use to showcase a trinket … and bemuse/confuse your fish.

Duplex Aquarium/Cage by Constance Guisset.  This thermoformed design takes the Wanda Aquarium and elevates the concept,  quite literally.  Bird and fish: neighbors in their high-rise condominium.

Floating Garden by Benjamin Graindorge & Duende Studio.  Water is naturally filtered by vegetation and soil from above.

Here is an aquarium that may be familiar with reefkeepers.  The ZeroEdge tank is the first commercially produced “infinity-edge” aquarium on the market.  Water spills over the top on all sides and cascades down into a spillway.  The spillway gravity-feeds a central sump below where it is filtered and pumped back up.  Rinse, lather, and repeat.

I'm a passionate aquarist of over 30 years, a coral reef lover, and the blog editor for Advanced Aquarist. While aquarium gadgets interest me, it's really livestock (especially fish), artistry of aquariums, and "method behind the madness" processes that captivate my attention.
