This captive grown beauty is being propagated from branches that have been grown completely under artificial conditions.  Detached from natural sunlight and natural sea water for many years, all the mass was realized and grown in a captive closed system.  Over the years the pigments have become more vibrant as each generation of new growth is added.  The seed fragment has lineage back to O.R.A. and was a captive grown specimen also.  Taking the time and dedication to fully grow a colony from a captive grown fragment brings many rewards but in this particular coral, it brings a new skin with plenty of amazing pigments for the eye to absorb.
