And they’re so quiet you probably didn’t hear them coming! Eshopps has made a few improvements over their 2nd generation of acrylic sumps, one of the most notable being they’re virtually silent. These are designed specifically for reef tanks, and their ridiculously easy installation and micron bag removal make them a great choice for reefing newbies.

Not sure if you buy the ninja-like silence of these babies? Check out this video from Eshopps putting the newest generation up against their previous line, though why you’d be watching TV while you have the natural splendor of a gorgeous reef display in the room is a rather silly notion! Be sure to contact your LFS for availability and pricing.

I'm a New York Reef Enthusiast and Fish Nerd, amateur photographer, dog lover, beer brewer/drinker, cocktail mixer, semi-seasoned chef, Prosecco Indulging, lightly foul-mouthed, slightly antagonistic, sorta-artistic, wordy bookworm of a girl. Dog mommy of three, an Abyssinian dubbed "Mau", plus one Dwarf Cuttlefish and a few Clarions. I have a tattoo of an Octopus with flowers on my rear. I ride my bike to the beach and sip bourbon with a good (reef) book while watching the waves. I like to think I'm witty and charming - but I'll let you decide.
