Good morning friends, here is the hands-down most beautiful fish Curacao has to offer; it’s called a Candy Basslet, Liopropoma carmabi and it lives at a depth of about 225 feet! This is by far the most sought-after aquarium fish in the world and retails for $500 to $1000! This is considered a Sea Bass in the Serranidae family and only grows to be about two inches in length. As you can see, these mini sea bass are boldly marked with stripes, generally light brown to red-brown or yellow-brown alternating with red or maroon, but stripes may be yellow, lavender, or even blue as you see here!!  MORE
