For this episode, we got together with our friends Carlos Machin of C & C Aquariums and Julian Sprung of Two Little Fishies to talk in-depth about calcium reactors.

We discussed how they work, what equipment you need,  (we used the Reef Octopus Calcium reactor and the Aquaa Maxx CO2 regulator ), our take on what media that you should go with (Two Little Fishies Reborn and Remag for replenishing both calcium, alkalinity, and magnesium), and how to safely control it  (Neptune System’s Apex system).
