One of the most brilliantly colored Acropora tenuis corals that Reeffarmers has seen and one that contains both blue and turquoise pigments. Primary pigmentation is a rich turquoise that can vary in brightness. Corallites tend to be colored an ice teal blue that can cover half the corallite or just part of its edge. Low light areas of the colony can turn magenta to tan. Polyps are dark blue to light blue and they can also develop magenta pigments. Photo and text courtesy of Reeffarmers.
