A very hardy butterfly once it begins to eat. Feed on a wide variety of animal prey including hydroids, fish eggs, small crustaceans but prefers tube feet of echinoderms, pedicilaria of sea urchins, and polychaete tentacles. May eat desirable bethnic inverts in aquariums. It will pick at things between the corals, looking for food, so it’s not reef safe as it may start to pick at certain corals. Does well in FO or FOWLR tanks, it just needs peaceful tank mates.
