Originating from Indonesia, this is a very special dottyback species that is rarely imported from the wild. These exquisite fish exhibit a starry pattern of yellow and white spots set against a deep blue background. They are considered to be somewhat aggressive and should be housed with larger semi-aggressive tankmates. Although a good choice for the reef tank, it may consume small ornamental crustaceans.
