The New England Frag Farmers Market, possibly the most unique and biggest reef aquarium show on this side of the Mississippi, came back for its 12th year this March and boy did it come big!
Despite the dreadful weather that Saturday morning, people turned out in droves, filling up every available room and every hallway of E.O Smith High School in Storrs, CT, where the event is organized. The show grows exponentially every passing year and 2019 broke another attendance record- a whopping 1479 people hungry for reef goodies showed up to meet fellow reefers, trade and/or buy corals, and see one of the featured speakers that gave talks throughout the day.
The New England Frag Farmers Market is truly a unique experience. Mr. Jon Swanson and his team of dedicated and hardworking students once again created something special and we were honored to be a part of it. I’m especially happy to have once again had the opportunity to jump behind the lens and document this cool gathering.
