Destination Reefs: Philippines (Cebu, Malapascua, Mactan and Oslob)

3 stripe damselfish play in grassbeds.

Back in November, we kicked off our first Destination Reefs video series with the Philippines.  We return this week to the heart of the Coral Triangle.

Art Vanchaam captures some gorgeous footage of Cebu and its surrounding islands.  We guarantee you the diversity of both the life and habitats will astound you. The Philippines is such a reef lovers’ treasure trove that we’ll continue our visit in the Philippines next week with a special focus on Apo Island.

The Destination Reefs video series showcases the diversity of coral reefs around the world.  Through these high quality videos, Advanced Aquarist hopes we can all gain a greater appreciation of reef life beyond our glass boxes.
