Remember that infographic that was making the rounds about mantis shrimp a few months ago?  Well it looks like there is now a video with narration showing how awesome this invert is and giving you an up close view of all of the amazing feats previously mentioned.  What’s really incredible is that most hobbyists regard these hitchhikers as pests and are quick to remove them from their tanks.  The mantis is known to make a complete mockery of your livestock choices and aquascaping, but they are by far the most intelligent animal you can keep in a tank, short of a cephalopod.  Maybe time to consider a species tank just to have one of these guys up close?
