The past few years have been tough for me. My wife faced a series of health challenges, and not long after, I found myself dealing with my own. Life has a way of throwing curveballs, and sometimes all you can do is hang on, letting the less important things fall to the wayside. Despite it all, I’ve continued to enjoy my aquarium, but I’ve missed the vibrant movement and colors that once filled it. Watching small frags grow into colonies under my care brought me a sense of fulfillment that I’ve truly missed.

Recently, I decided it was time for a change. I reached out to a few friends who offered to help seed my tank. First on the list was Chris Portale from The Fish Store in Port Saint Lucie. I’ve known Chris for many years, and he’s been a great supporter of my channel. When I reached out to him, he didn’t hesitate—he told me to come by and pick up some corals.

In this vlog, I’m excited to share the journey of picking out corals with my kids and beginning a major transformation for my aquarium.
