Luiz Rocha to be Keynote Speaker at MACNA 2014

rochaHot off the press, the MACNA 2014 Keynote Speaker will be Luiz Rocha, a well known expert on fish and reefs.  Luiz works at the Steinhart Aquarium here he is the curator of Ichthyology at the California Academy of Sciences. He specifically focuses on fish evolution and biology, and maintains one of the largest collections of preserved reef fish used for study at Steinhart.  Luiz was recently on two major expeditions in remote reef area such as Anilao and rarely visited locations in the Philippines.
