Colored PVC has been used in rare occasions and always piqued my interest, adding a little flare under the hood. Using gray Schedule 80 PVC for “high end” aquarium builds has been gaining traction, yet many don’t realize we’re restricting flow with the thicker sidewall dimension that makes Schedule 80 PVC, Schedule 80 PVC. There were a few places in the US that carry colored PVC, however now Bulk Reef Supply has brought it to the forefront of the aquarium industry with easy access to eight different color options. Think of all the cool combinations you could put together, whether it’s something semi-functional like differentiating return and drain lines or supporting your favorite sports team… hailing from Ann Arbor, MI, I see a little maize and blue action coming our way on new office aquarium installations.
