Love them or hate them, the folks from animal planet’s Tanked (acrylic tank manufacturing) continue to make headlines and some very interesting aquariums. One of the latest projects, which was featured on Friday’s season premiere episode, focused on designing a tank for Baywatch’s own David Hasselhoff. For some of our younger readers, David Hasselhoff starred in the popular TV series Baywatch and Knight Rider (my personal favorite). Tanked’s Wayde King and Brett Raymer listened to Hasselhoff’s request before designing the Baywatch themed tank. “I wanted bright fish that I could strike up a relationship with,” Hasselhoff told PEOPLE. “Specifically, sharks and fish that have great personalities that would know you.” The guys from tank suggested also incorporating pieces from Knight Rider, Baywatch and the Berlin wall. The tank featured custom inserts including the Berlin wall, a lifeguard stand and the Kitt car. Hasselhoff says he is delighted with the final result. “It was quite spiritual, actually,” Hasselhoff told PEOPLE. “It made me feel calm and curious and honored that these fish would now be my friends. Small minds think alike. Everyone has some sin the indulge in, just some are behind closed doors. But when pointing a finger at someone doing what only God can do …3 fingers are pointing back at you!! A lot of people’s problems are no on the news or cares because they not famous.
Set up a tank. Fill with sw, hook up cannister filter, two hours later fill it with tangs and corals. Boom who needs to cycle! Guys are jokes who don’t explain how patience is key to this hobby.

they build some beautiful tanks and then fill them with fake ass rock and coral…I’ll pass
Not completely false except I never seen them use live coral, one thing I can say is that show got me interested in the hobby and have had two tanks for two years, Anyone that would start without doing some research and talking to your LFS probably ain’t smart enough to do the hobby…. Just saying. After the first time I watched them the first thing I said was there has to more to it than that .
They did one tank with live coral one time.
Fish don’t belong in tanks!!
There’s no way there fish live from only setting up in one day and they over stock every tank I couldn’t imagine them not having ick out brakes or fungas or nitrites lol
Next week they make one for Penn & Teller. Should be good.

Ugly setup nothing new loosing interest in the show they need to do a new spin on Tanked.
