Gymnogeophagus terrapurpura is an omnivore, feeding on zooplankton, macroinvertebrates, and periphyton (to a lesser extent), reducing greatly its feeding activity during autumn and winter when water temperature decreases
What can you tell me about the water parameters for this fish? I bought one at an aquatics expo and was told he would go fine in my community tank and I later heard that was the wrong information. Please let me know of any information that you can give me to help keep this fish happy.
