AcquariaItalia 2025: Italy’s first trade show entirely dedicated to aquariums debuts with over 6,000 visitors and 41 exhibitors from across Europe
Malpensa Fiere, April 26–27, 2025 — The first edition of AcquariaItalia, Italy’s first exhibition entirely dedicated to aquarium keeping, closed with resounding success, drawing more than 6,000 visitors over two days. With a steady flow of attendees—especially on Saturday morning—the halls of Malpensa Fiere were transformed into a hub of innovation, passion, and professional exchange.
The event was born from the vision of Danilo Ronchi of DaniReef.com and Daniel Baiocco of Esotika Pet Show, who passionately believed in the need for a trade show entirely focused on aquarium keeping. A special thank you goes to all the exhibitors who believed in this project and made its success possible, and to all our collaborators who shared and believed in our vision.
A knowledgeable and passionate audience
One of the standout features of the event was the quality of the visitors: knowledgeable, engaged, and eager to connect with exhibitors. The result was a dynamic and productive dialogue that enriched both professionals and hobbyists.
For the first time in Italy, the show also hosted free guided tours, both for freshwater and marine areas, which were widely appreciated by attendees for their educational value.
An international showcase
41 exhibitors took part in the show, primarily from Italy, alongside international participants from France, Israel, Belgium, and Germany. This confirms the show’s European outlook and its ability to attract businesses from across the continent.
Notably, the event was attended by high-profile international influencers such as Tony Vargas, Mr. Recif Captiv, and NC Reef, who helped extend the event’s reach well beyond Italy, as well as important Italian influencers such as DaniReef, Zio Pesce Blog and Gloria Ciriello Aquascaper, whose participation has encouraged the involvement of the Italian community, contributing to a lively and participatory atmosphere.
