The ultimate betta fish aquarium

This has got to rank as one of the (if not the) best betta exhibits ever. At ZooBotanica 2013 fair, a Polish zoological and botanical trade show, members of a local aquarium society presented this glorious multi-level aquatic betta terrace. DefiniteAquascapeTV captured equally incredible video of an adventurous male betta navigating (base jumping!) its way from the top terrace down to the bottom.

Gramma dejongi observed outside Cuba

Gramma dejongi is a gorgeous basslet that was only recently discovered in Cuba in 2010. In 2013, the first ever G.dejongi was spotted outside of Cuba at Little Cayman Island. This sighting is a big deal for basslet lovers in the United States because now there is the potential to import this fish.

The Turquoise Tail Line Maroon Clownfish

iBluewater calls this misbarred clownfish The Turquoise Tail Line Maroon. The turquoise tail stripe is certainly distinctive (hence its namesake), but equally special is the faded middle bar with a distinctive top "dot" similar to the blue spotted maroons iBluewater imported in 2010. Furthermore, the head bar is a different golden pigment.
