Yup. Sex. A new study finds that boy guppies spend almost half their waking lives chasing after girl guppies, and it comes at a great cost. Males kept in company of females suffer three times higher mortality rates compared to males kept only with other males.

Two new Sueviota dwarf gobies

Researchers have described two new Sueviota species: Sueviota tubicola (AKA the "tube worm goby") from Papua New Guinea and Sueviota pyrios (AKA the "sun chariot goby") from the Red Sea.
