Reef Balls, for those of you who have not seen them before, are artificial concrete reef structures that are placed on damaged reefs in order to provide new habitat for coral, fish, and other aquatic life.

New species of Siamese Fighting Fish discovered

The new species, named Betta mahachaiensis, was discovered by a team of biologists led by Chanon Kowaspupat of the Institute for Innovative Learning, Mahidol University in Thailand.
