National Geographic Shows Off New Found Fish

The “Tripod Fish” pictured above (Pteropsaron longipinnis) was photographed by Gerry Allen on a recent dive in Indonesia.  This fish is joined by 24 other new species recently discovered and documented in this HUGE new set of books called Reef Fishes of the East Indies.  The book is packed with over 3600 color photographs and looks like it is  amazing, especially with the photographers involved.  You can see some of the other new fish on the National Geographic slideshow HERE.
