The Blue Avatar is a deeper water Acropora that contains some very exotically colored polyps. Branch ends develop a Blue Purple pigmentation, but under stronger light levels this purple will develop more extensively. Polyps have white colored tentacles and there appears to be blue purple pigments in the center area of the polyps and tentacles. This gives the polyp a flower petal type of appearance.
