Brick Red Chalice

This massive coral has one of the most intense colorations we have seen in stony corals. It has a brilliant red orange color. Reeffarmers originally acquired this coral from Shu Tin of Monterey, but the fragment we are currently farming was acquired from Mingwei at Atlantis Aquarium. This large corallite Brick Red Echinophyllia maintains its intense coloration quite well in captive reefs.
