Description

The Joe’s Solar Flare Favia is an easy to maintain Favia that developed some very colorful pigments under weak to moderate lighting. What is unique about its pigments is the large and extensive golden yellow areas that develop. These areas form irregular patches that spread out from corallite centers. There are also turquoise, pink and bluish pigments. The golden yellow corallites can also contain pink red specks and the corallite itself can be surrounded by a pink ringed outer edge. Corallite ridges tend to contain the bluish pigments.
