The War coral is red with green centers while the Peace coral is green with pink/red centers. Those two corals have pigment patterns with opposite colors. The new Pastel War and Peace coral contains corallite centers that are colored bright pastel pink. The inner edge of the corallite is bright red and this red color slowly changes to a pastel pink up on the outer corallite ridges. The overall color of the coral is bright pastel pink spots or corallite centers with bright green corallite ridges. When maintained in moderate to bright light this green ridges can appear more light cream in coloration.
