Des Moines – Center of the Reefing World

by | Sep 12, 2011 | MACNA, Opinion | 0 comments

Another MACNA has come and gone and our hats are off to the awesome team at GIRS for putting on a fantastic show.  For 3 days, the rest of the world stood still and we all got together to share our love of the reefs, our thirst for new and cooler gadgets, and our favorite beverages.  This year’s MACNA clearly demonstrated the ever growing market for all things LED, more effective and safer carbon dosing reactors and pellets, exciting new advances in fish breeding (including the appearance of the TLF Branded Naked Clownfish), and more additives than we know what to do with.  What will take hold in the hobby and what will fall to the side remains to be seen, but one thing is sure, our love for the hobby unites us all and attending MACNA is truly one of the best experiences you can have in the hobby.  See you in Dallas!
