The AZOO Eco-Desk 56x35x30″ (146x88x76cm) table features a 21.5″ gallon look-down aquarium situated in the middle of the table. The top glass panel lifts on a pneumatic hinge (allowing for safe and easy lifting) for total access into the aquarium from the top.  The frame and legs of the Eco-Desk are made from solid aluminum, then painted (in the current version, this Eco-Desk is available in gloss white).

These aquarium tables are complete systems with built in filtration, circulation, and T5 lighting (two 13 watt T5s for this particular model).  Reef aquariums are out of the question and saltwater is probably ill-advised.  Keeping fish is not in their best interest either; imagine how freaked out they would be with all the noise and commotion.  However, a planted aquarium may make for an incredible centerpiece, literally.

Here is a video of this table aquarium in action.  The Eco-Desk (all its variants) have been around for many years now, but they’ve never achieved mass appeal.  It’s a well-built system.  Then again, for $2000-3000, it better be.
