Released today, EcoTech Marine added a new listing to their current trademarks for a Radion LED.

So by the sounds of it EcoTech is going to enter the ring with some new LED units, but what should we expect from them? The answer is nothing less than what their pumps gave us. I would expect an LED light from them to be nothing short of the best packed into a light that does new things we can’t possibly predict! EcoTech‘s pumps certainly pack some controllability that can’t be rivaled by anything else, and they do it in ways that are matched by none. I’m expecting new ways of controlling their LEDs that will completely break the mold on reef lighting and change the industry standards for the better!

The moral of this story is that if you are looking into buying an LED unit in the near future, you may want to hold off a little bit longer.
