DESCRIPTION:The Coral Reef Alliance is honored to host a 30th anniversary fundraising gala\, which will be a night of reflection and celebration of three full decades of saving coral reefs. \nFunds raised at the gala will support our next 30 years (and beyond) of protecting coral reefs and the marine life who depend on them. \nWe’re thrilled to announce Jean-Michel Cousteau as our keynote speaker! \nFor over six decades\, Jean-Michel Cousteau’s life-time mission continues inspiring people of all nations and generations to act responsibly to protect the ocean our planet’s water ecosystems. His 78 years of diving\, exploration\, and discovery began a generation ago with his father\, Jacques Yves Cousteau aboard Calypso and Alcyone. In 1999 after his father’s death he founded Ocean Futures Society (OFS) as a “Voice for the Ocean.” Like father like son\, Jean-Michel is a dedicated advocate for the protection of our water planet. As a voice for the ocean\, he inspires and educates audiences worldwide about the need to act responsibly and preserve the fragile underwater ecosystems that are so intricately tied to all life on earth.
