SUMMARY:Green Bay Aquarium Society 2nd Fresh/Salt Swap Meet
DESCRIPTION:Tables are $20 each. \nSpace is limited. A $50 deposit is necessary to reserve your spot. \nVendor set up begins at 9:00 am. The doors open to the public at noon and the event runs until 4pm. The event is free and open to the public\, and everyone is welcome to attend. Refreshments will be available on site. \nGBAS is a non-profit educational organization whose purpose is to further the study of all forms of aquatic life\, to promote interest\, exchange ideas\, and distribute information concerning the aquarium hobby\, and to encourage the breeding and display of aquatic life. The swap meet supports this purpose by providing an outlet for area hobbyists to sell the fish and corals they have propagated and/or to purchase varieties of corals and other aquatic life not readily available at area stores. New and used equipment will also be available as well as door prizes and raffles. \nGBAS maintains several public aquariums\, including those at the Brown County Central Library. SUMMARY:Grand Valley Aquarium Society Swap Meet

Admission benefits the club but once inside\, buyers are free to deal directly with sellers. \nNew this year: We will also be holding a raffle of select seller items at 11 AM\, 12 PM\, and 1 PM. The majority of sellers will be carrying freshwater fish and dry goods\, though there will be several saltwater vendors as well. \nFor Sellers: Cost of registration is $10 per 6-foot table and includes one admission for the seller. \nNew this year: We will be doing a raffle of items from sellers tables. Sellers must select one item from their table to be a possible raffle item\, though not every item will be raffled off. Every hour we will draw one seller and raffle off their item. You are welcome to get there earlier\, but please give us until 9:00 AM to get everything set up. Also\, we always can use extra help at the auction. If you would like to get involved\, please see me on the 29th. Runners are always needed and is an excellent way to get to see the auction fish up close and personal\, as well as helping you meet your fitness goal for the day. No previous experience is needed and is a fun way to spend the day.
