Do you have a Holy Grail coral? AKA, a nub of something exotic that you have to have? Â Well, I can tell you that I have plenty of those on my wish list. Â Sometimes I actually get a chance to acquire that Holy Grail coral at a price that I am willing to pay. The Darth Maul Porites (po-rite-ees) is one such coral for me. While browsing forums, I came across a lovely ruby colored SPS that was called the Darth Maul Porites. Hobbyists were trying different lighting intensities and spectrums in an effort to get their frags to maintain the jewel tone that it is known for. If you looking for an amazing rainbow chalice then you might want to consider this AquaNerd featured coral of the week for your Christmas wish list.  The Confetti Cake Chalice looks good enough to eat but at $299.00 for 3/4″ – 1″ frag you’re better off watching it grow into a beautiful colony.  The coral features 4 vidid shades of red, royal blue, orange and lime sherbet green. Well, in case you’ve been living under a rock for the past 18 months, it’s election day and our country will have a new president elect…for better or worse, richer or poorer.  I’m felling a little extra patriotic today, so lets pay a little respect to the Captain America palythoa. The Captain America Palythoa has a red and blue pattern similar to the comic book character’s colors.  The coral resembles Captain America’s famous red, white, and blue shield.
