What that means is that you can rest assured knowing this specimen received the highest level of care from our experienced and professional ® staff! PLUS, hobbyists that use our ® Professional Reef Salt have the added benefit knowing marine species shipped from our ® Wisconsin Facility share the same water parameters. In other words, if you use our Professional Reef Salt, marine species shipped from our Wisconsin Facility will acclimate and transition to your home aquarium with less stress to set the foundation for longer term success. The Candy Cane Wrasse Hologymnosus rhodonotus is known by several other names: the Redback Ring Wrasse, Redback Longface Wrasse, and the Red Cigar Wrasse. Changing colors throughout their life, our juvenile Candy Cane Wrasse is white with red stripes. This Wrasse is a good candidate for a fish-only marine aquarium with fish larger than it is because it will see crustaceans and other inverts as food. A lidded aquarium with rocks or other places to hide will make a good environment for the Candy Cane Wrasse. A deep sandy substrate will provide not only a place to sleep, but a place to hide to escape danger. This member of the Labridae family is a carnivore and its diet should include meaty frozen and dry food, Mysis shrimp and brine shrimp. Approximate shipping size: 2-1/2” to 5”
