While turkey will probably be the star of the show this Thursday, seafood sides and appetizers can be a wonderful, easy addition. Light and simple or rich, deep, and savory, here are a few of our favorite recipes – let us know if you have tried any of them, or share your own recipe below!

These Crab Pinwheels are a deliciously creamy and savory appetizer, featuring tender crab meat blended with cream cheese and flavorful ingredients. They are an easy, make-ahead favorite that everyone will love!

You can tailor the recipe to suit your flavor preferences or dietary needs easily. For a spicier version, adding diced jalapeños or a touch of Sriracha to the cream cheese mixture can bring some heat. Those looking for an even more seafood-forward flavor can substitute the imitation crab for real lump crab meat.

For a quick hors d’oeuvre, try this Salmon Crostini. The super simple recipe looks extra impressive – the smoked salmon does all the work by looking fabulous and sophisticated. When choosing your smoked salmon, you may see a lot of options in the supermarket. Don’t be intimidated! Just choose a smoked salmon that says “Nova,” which is the standard for New York smoked salmon culture. If you’re more to the West, then you can go with a Pacific smoked salmon as well!

Cioppino is a classic seafood stew with a mix of seafood cooked in a tomato-based broth. This super easy cioppino seafood stew is perfect for a crowd. Just dump a few pantry ingredients in the soup pot for the base. Then add fresh or frozen shrimp, fish, or whatever seafood you like. Served as a appetizer or as a side dish, it’s lovely and delicious! I could also see serving this as a main course (on a non-holiday, maybe) with a side of crusty bread and a green salad.

Find the 7-imgredient recipe HERE, you can use it as a jumping-off point – feel free to put your own spin on it!

And finally, we have this delicious and decadent Seafood Lasagna. While this recipe is a little more involved than the previous, it is a show-stopping crowd pleaser! It could even be the main dish of your celebration. If you don’t like a particular seafood, leave it out. Use more of the other seafood ingredients. Also, try swapping it out with fish or even lobster! It is a seafood lovers’ delight and is perfect for a special occasion.
