How important is testing for Magnesium? What brand test kit do you use?

Salifert I test once week

I use salifert. And I test whenever at least once a month. But I use Tropic Marine salt that usually includes that’s if I do a water change that month.

What is everyone trying to keep there mag at and why?

I test every week just in case . I keep my mag between 1350-1400 . I test with Aquaforest TestPro

i test once a week and use salifert trying to keep my mag close to 1350 as possible, i noticed better growth around that range and i dose with Brightwell Aquatics Magnesion-P
