David's BIO: David Cripe is a Sr. Aquarist at the Monterey Bay Aquarium and has headed up their larval culture program as well as maintenance and propagation for over 40 different coral species to be found in the reef tanks of their Splash Zone exhibit.
David will describe and lead demonstrations in some of the techniques used to propagate various corals. This will be a practical hands on experience for everyone so be ready to get your hands wet and feel free to bring in specimens to be used as demonstrations.
