What are all the pieces of equipment you need to set up a red sea ozonizer? Do you need a pump? Where does charcoal come in? How do you determine what size ozonizer you need? What is the best brand

Ideally you would have an ozone reactor, air dryer, air pump to feed the ozone and a monitor controller to manage the whole thing.

In the real world people just plumb the ozone into the skimmer via the venturi. If your ozoneizer does not have an airpump you need to add a T fitting so that your airnozzle can be fed air and ozone without resriction. Make sure that your skimmer is ozone safe.

The carbon should be placed at the skimmer outflow and for safety you should place some on the holes on top of your collection cup. That will ensure that all escaped ozone will be "caught" You will not need alot of carbon as the ozone will react readily with ease with the carbon.

It is however advisable to have a monitor to control how much u are dosing.
