East Creek is a tidal creek leading into Peconic Bay, in Cutchogue...its about 15 miles east of Indian Island. Normally big bass are only in the creeks from mid-May through mid-June. This year has been unusual...people at the bait shops say they have never seen bass in the creeks this late. The whole area is full of these creeks on the bay side, both north and south forks. Right now it appears that the bunker have moved on from East Creek...my guess is that when they return will be later in the summer and the bass will be long gone...but if it stays this cool, anything is possible.....
