As promised i shot some closeups. Unfortunately with the setup, i can't penetrate deep into the tank, so the subject has to be pretty close. I used a combo of the reversed lens and the 250d.

Notice the pod on the gorgonian.

The Ricordia looks like it has light bulbs on it.

With the reverse setup your working distance can be from less than an inch to inch and a half, depending on whether you have the lens on infinity or not. It's a nice way to get really close, but the subject was to be very close. I can't image using it for say insects, as most will flee.

Camera is d70, 105mm macro, 50mm reversed. Hope that helps.
