I was in greenwich aquaria today and hate to report this but the display tank has a new species of worm in it!

It's long, yellow and orange and apparently eats mysis  :wink1:

Jason got a second species of Garden Eel?
Yes, and he is really happy about the little guys. Hopefully he'll drop by and tell us the name of it. It did say..but I didn't catch it.

Neptune..please tell us you did put that alive into the Hudson!
We should never release any living species that is not endemic to the area.
If you have an unwanted hitch-hiker in your tank..you can always find someone on here that is willing to keep it in their sump as an oddity.

Hey guys...
It's Gorgasia preclara. I think these are the prettiest of the garden eels, and by default, not easy to find. These ones were put in the tank about six weeks ago, and have only started poking out this last week.
