Help!!!:sigh: I was removing half of the rock on the right side of my reef when I noticed this very thick, milky, white, slimy, gooey stuff on a piece of rock. I took it out and decided not to add it to the bucket with my "good" pieces. I kept pulling out rocks and finding more surprises.

Aside from the fact that I found four rocks with this slimy stuff on them, I also found a few others with what I think might be bristle worms or something. They burrowed into the rock, they didn't sting or anything, they varied in length, the longest being almost 3" long. What they looked like is the end part of a bristle star's foot (leg? tentacle? -- what do star fish have:duh: ).

Does anyone have any thoughts as to what the white stuff is and is it harmful?:scratchch

And what are the wormy things, and what should I do about them?:bigeyes2:

Your help is appreciated.
