My new lionfish won't eat

specially goldfish...I'm told that they have a 'bone' in them that can get caught in the lion

Yes, i can relate...

Had a beautiful Lionfish that i bought from a store that fed it live fish. It would only eat Silversides that got caught in the tank's current. If it was standing still, it wouldn't eat. Because I also have triggers in the tank, I felt that it wasn't eating enough.

So, from past experience with a much larger Lionfish, i fed it small goldfish and guppies. Unfortunately, Lionfish didnt stop eating and he overate and his stomach became engorged. Died a few days later, still with a full belly.

Tank is healthy and feeding it live fish was the only change to the daily routine. Never had this problem with my other LionFish but he was much, much bigger.
