So I have this small piece of zoa frag ( about 12 polyps ) that was sold to me and it detached itself from the rock that it was glued on :splitspin So you see this zoa frag flying across the tank. I grabbed it with a tong and glued it back; with what I only had in the house - aquarium sealant. For now its holding up; but the zoas arent out =(

Did I kill it? What glue is water safe and can be applied right away onto the corals and into the tank water?

I heard people use "Super Glue",.. is this reef safe?

the proper glue to use is gel super glue. just a small dab will work.
I have no idea what aquarium caulking will do to a coral but I'm sure it's not good.

a small amount of silicon should not be too bad. silicon companies recommend it be fully cured before it's used with livestock though.
I would take it out and try to save the zoas.
