skimmer question?

i wanted to know if a E.T.S.S. Reef Devil Deluxe Protein Skimmer would be to much for a 29G tank with a 35G sump/fuge? the skimmer is rated 180 wouldnt that be to much for a 64 gallons of water?

i go be 50% - 75% of the rating so 180gal skimmer for 29G might be a bit over kill, better than under rated. plus you can over feed your tank
