I overdosed on the B-ionic calcium. The alkalinity fell to 0.9 dkH, and two clams passed on. One has to be SO careful. Seems like the teardrop and crocea species are the most sensitive!!!

The pH was 7.0 too...wow...Ca2+ really changes the pH. I bought a PinPoint Monitor to be more careful this time around.

Here is the current picture

ca n alk a the most important with regards to sps n clams. i would say with the order of sensitivity with popular Tridacnaclams;
maxima-crocea-squamosa-derasa-giga.
size matters too. the smaller the more sensitive.
