Mh Conversion

hey guys..i need some help..right now i have a 48" current orbit PC light fixture sitting on my 72 gallon bow..the fixture is under a canopy..does anyone know if it is possible to use the same fixture and replace the bulbs with MH and add a ballast or 2? or does someone have a retrofit that they have already done in a canopy with MH..basically im trying to switch and upgrade over to MH but keeping the canopy on my tank and since i have a drop celing.. i do not want to hang it..that is my last resort...

What wattage of MH are you planing to add and do you have pics of your canopy?
