i have a nice piece of favia.....

Let say I want to take your favia. What MINIMALLY do I need to maintain it?

I only have Instant Ocean salt and a bare tank to spare for it. Can I go without a filter? Can it go under regular sunlight? I like the idea of rasing any pet as natural as possible. Most of my fresh water plants and fish stay in the open during spring and summer, no filter, no pump, no CO2 but they still thrill. I only deal with fresh water stuff before except I rescued a clown fish from the fish market and raise it for 3 years with see water from Manhattan Beach
