72" Metal Halide Fixture for possible trade

Hey Guys:

I just ordered new ballasts with wiring harnesses and bulbs to upgrade my lighting to 400 Watt. I just realized that there may be someone here that could actually use the setup, so...

I would be willing to trade the whole 72" setup with ballasts in exchange for a new hood/reflector with the mogul's. (I already ordered the ballasts and bulbs) Probably would cost about $600 to get the hood and reflector and you would have a 175W Metal Halide hood.

Let me know quick, before I drill out the rivets in the hood to rewire it... (I will be making this a weekend project)

I'm in need of that fixture. Is is a 175 watt that you have ? I really don't have anything to trade but a 48" 250 watt hood with vho's

What I am looking for is someone to pick up the tab of the pieces I plan to use from the hood. (The hood with reflector and mogul/VHO sockets)

The cost for a hood with reflector and the sockets would run about $600.

Basically it amounts to me selling my hood setup with the ballasts for $600. I am perfectly happy messing with the current hood, but that leaves me with a ballast that no one can really use.

You would still need to change out the VHO ballast or have this one fixed and it needs new bulbs.

To make things simpler, I am willing to sell my entire fixture for $600.00
(The cost for the new components instead of retrofitting this hood for 400W)

It is a 6 foot fixture that has 3- 175W metal halide bulbs, 2 VHO bulbs and the MH ballast. The VHO ballast has a bad switch that has to get wacked to turn on. Champion Lighting suggested I call coral life, that they may be willing to fix it for me.

The hood needs some minor touching up (paint) and was retrofitted for the VHO bulbs, it used to have normal output flourecents on it. I will even throw in the NO flor. ballast, I sure dont need it. It also needs new bulbs, these are ready to be changed.

The fixture is one of the old Energy Savers Unlimited setups.
