I have two tanks that are not complete.

Anyone has extra stuff left over when upgrading to let go for free or trade, please hit me back.

I need to re fit the following:
10G planted: need lighting, CO2
55G cichlid with few plants: need light, filter, sand

I can trade you guys with my family's extremely high protein dry shrimp meal.
Over 86% protein by weight and less than 1.5% ash. You will see high growth rate, color enhancement and little waste after changing to this meal.

Test results
3/4" cichlids grow to 1"-1.25" in 2 weeks
1" cichlids grow to 1.5"-1.75" in 2 weeks
color better than any I have seen in the pet shop

I have 20 fish in my 55 gallon tank without a filter and I am so lazy that I had not change water for more than half a year. The fish still thrill in these water with this food. I am trying to improve the water with a filter if you guys have even a small one to go for free, I would appreciate.

I can also trade you with plants after I re-set up the tanks with light. I only use sunlight but now is winter and sunlight is limited especially when I cannot put them outside of my house. If you help me now, I can return you with a lot of fresh water plants in Spring and Summer when I start to grow them in my backyard again. I did give out a whole bunch last year.

Thanks in advance.

This is a saltwater reef forum although some here still have freshwater tanks you might have better luck in a freshwater forum.

I know this is a salt water forum but can't find the other yet

Thanks for your information. I do know that this is a salt water forum but since I cannot find a freshwater forum in NYC so I try my luck here.

Actually I am trying to get into salt water too.

I like to raise things as natural as possible, so I think salt water stuff could be a little more headache since I am not next to the sea :banghead:

3 Reasons

why dont you buy a filter?

1)I like the idea of raising them as naturally as possible
2)The fish were small when I first get them
3)I am kind of poor due to a series of mishaps :shocked1:

Now that the fish are getting big quickly, I think the eco system I have maintained will not stay balance without a filter, so I am asking for spare parts for free or for trade. Furthermore, since it's winter, sunlight is no longer as much as used to be when water plants can do their job. Note that I don't even have a light for it. I place my tank next to the window. The fish are still very lively so i think even a very small filter will do the job.
