I know this is not possible but

Is there anyway to add more firefish to a 30gal tank with one firefish already. Would love a school of them. Also have one royal gramma and 2 ocellaris clown. Thought a group of firefish would be a nice way to finish off fish for my reef tank. Not looking for world war 3 though

But before you take him out just get a specimen container and float the firefish for a day or so and see if he acts funny

I understand that, its a risk thats why i say put them in a specimen container for a day to see the the gramma behaves before you take him out

Firefish do school make sure its the same type the only problem you may have is if the old one is territorial but if your putting a couple i doubt you will have a problem
As others have said the royal gramma might give you problems be ready to pull it out if it gives you issues
