There are guys keeping this coral under LED, t5, and halide. Only one guy keeping the red highlights is running a 400w radium. Not really sure on their other red colors. It's more than the lighting though. I had this coral for months in my old tank under a 400w halide and never got this color. It only started changing in my new tank once I starting adding all the fish. Kingator has a frag under a 250w radium and is currently holding color, only been a couple weeks though. I keep my fingers crossed :)

Unfortunately I lost most of this 14" colony along with all my other large colonies. I am regrowing from a few frags. Many guys in NY and across the country have this coral if you post a WTB thread. As for keeping the red, I've seen it done under every lighting, common factor is heavy feeding/carbon dosing/while keeping low po4. I had best color giving 500-600 par under 400w radium, nitrates 15ppm, and po4 .03. I had MANY fish in my system and fed multiple times daily.
